What is ESG?

ESG has become really popular in recent years, however, do you understand what ESG is? ESG is about "Environmental Protection", "Social Responsibility", and "Governance". It was firstly proposed by the United Nations Global Compact in 2004 and regarded as an important indicator for business evaluation. It is also the basis for enterprises to gain trust between customers and investors.

ESG has environmental protection including climate change, wastage and disposal management, renewable energy, etc. Our society is responsible including human resource, product safety and security, investor veto power; Company management involves business ethic, competition behaviour, financial system stability and transparency, etc.
